What Spokely stores about you and your bike, and why.
Spokely is a demonstration bicycle insurance service. This page describes how the demo handles personal data. No real policies are issued and no real payments are taken.
Your name, email address and optional phone number when you create an account. The bikes you register: brand, model, frame number, value, purchase date and lock. Quotes, policies, instalments and claims, including the police report reference you enter for a theft claim.
Messages you send through the contact form and the email address you give for the newsletter.
To calculate your price, issue and administer your policy, handle your claims and answer your questions. Claims handlers can see the claims assigned to them and the policy they relate to. Internal handler notes are never shown to customers.
You see your own data. Spokely staff see only what their role needs: claims handlers see the claims queue and their own claims, the underwriter sees policies, customers and payments. We do not sell data and do not share it with advertisers.
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
You can ask us for a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by writing to hello@spokely.example. Records of policies and claims may need to be kept for a legal period.
